Mission Statement

SNOW FILM FEST, NYC's mission is to showcase the diversity of the snow lifestyle by bringing the varied perspectives of snow to a wide audience. We will celebrate snow as the powerful silent element that stirs massive excitement in all ages. As enthusiasts find different ways to interact with snow, it's important to explore both the range and the common threads that connects us all to the snow lifestyle. The SFFNYC aims to bring together the greater community to get stoked, create, inspire, motivate, reflect, and most importantly, live life in the snow.

Our Founder's are Waiting for Snow

  • Morgan Rae Berk

Morgan Rae Berk has produced events both internationally and in NYC for 8+ years.

Winters you can find her on the streets of Brooklyn training her dog to pee brands' names in the snow [talk about guerilla marketing?] or covered ninja style head to toe in a really really thick wetsuit surfing long island's snowy waves.

She is a constant reminder that life is allowed to be fun and makes sure there's plenty of ways for everyone around her to enjoy it. Feel free to email her for dog training or a Brooklyn restaurant + bar map:

  • Peter Folan

Born, bred and raised immersed within the action sports industry Peter Folan has been dubbed a master of many. Seeking anything but constraints, this innovative forward thinking tech savant has worked with event coordinators in order to produce beautiful and effective web presences.

Winter you can find him frost bitten and wet, wrapped securely up in thick neoprene trekking down to his Favorite Long Island break or on an impromptu mid-night mountain trip in search of fresh powder to bomb.

  • Christian Driggs

During the winter you can find me following all my passions.

  • Jason Jewett

SnowMan, Jason Jewett is a master of design¯drawing influence from his extensive interior and graphic background.

He has made a successful and sought after mark in a NY blizzard of press launches and pop-up environments for the past decade. He spends his free time collecting obscure, vintage, and foreign film posters and honing his expert snow fort craftmanship. This is the guy you want on your side in life, or in a snow ball fight.:

  • Daria Sullivan

SnowAngel, Daria Sullivan, has always loved making things out of piles of snow. When young, her snow forts were palaces and her snow men were sculptures.

For the last 14 years, her cool creations have have come in the form of media launches and consumer events. Motivated by the sounds of 60's soul, she and her husband Thomas' combined creative force has resulted in a 14 year old bar, off broadway plays, a theatre series in the middle of Maine, feature films and the like.

The greatest thing she ever made was her 3 year old daughter, Rae. The Sullivans live in Brooklyn Heights, where they wait for snow and the first shot at the untouched packing snow on the promanade. Who knows what she'll make next...
