I, the undersigned, am the authorized representative for the above-mentioned film. I have read, understand and fully comply with all submission eligibility information, Submission Guidelines, Terms and Conditions of Entry and Entry Eligibility requirements. If the film is selected by the Snow Film Fest NYC, I grant permission for public exhibition of the film during the 2010 Snow Film Festival NYC.

The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations

    When will I know if my film was programmed?

  • It takes a little bit to get through the stack of films. We expect to have final decisions for filmmakers by end of September 2010.

    • Why do you need 5 copies?

  • We′ve got a few people on the screening panel, and they can′t all be in the same place to watch all the films. We promise not to lose, copy, or otherwise let anyone get ANY of these copies.

    • What if my film is "almost" done but not quite there yet. Can I send in a rough edit?

  • Yes. Try to send the best representation of your work by the deadline date. However, we will need to see a final copy of the film by September 30th in order to program it for 2010.

    • Can I just send you a youtube link?

  • While this seems like a pretty stellar way to get your short film to us, it′s also a good way for us to forget about it. A hard copy of the film goes a long way. It doesn′t have to be fancily packaged. A burnt DVD with black marker scribble is definitely ok. Also, youtube compresses your file a lot, and won′t look great on a big film screen in NYC right? Let′s get us copies that could be screened in the end.

    • Why do you have a submission fee? I′m a poor filmmaker and put my heart and soul into the film and have no money left.

  • The submission fee is in no way pocketed by us. It takes a little grease and man power to coordinate this whole project and we spend every dollar for submissions to get the submissions viewed by the screening panel. Besides, small price to pay to have the opportunity to have a screening in NYC. Those theaters will put a $1K dent in your pocket just for 2 hours!

    • Do you waive fees for 501c3 organizations?

  • If you have 501c3 status please email us to waive the fee. We want to help non profits as much as possible. Especially environmental snowy ones.
